Where do I get the tallinn weather widget from? I’m here for 3 months from Australia. I left behind drought and 36 degrees and I have climate jet lag.

Snow is starting to clear up at the minute – not sure whether there’ll be more – weather has been very temperamental this year.

I don’t think Ryanair fly here yet, but you can fly Estonian Air from Dublin, or Easyjet from London.

Have always harboured an interest in the Northern Hemisphere,so I’ve found your accounts very interesting.Thinking of paying a visit to Tallinn.Is there still snow in March ?Do you know of any nice place to stay ?

Well this is mild, during this time of year. Last year we had -32 Celsius. Now that is cold. Proper Estonian winters are around -10 Celsius. Then the snow is like powder and during the days (short as they are) the sun will shine.

Also considering the fact that on the same latitude in Siberia -30 to -40 Celsius is considered normal, this is bloody warm.

Equip yourself with winter gear, since February is the coldest month of the year.
